THE PROJECT

Indigo Dunes will be a world-class residential development and a positive amenity for Virginia Beach.

The neighborhood will overlook tranquil Pleasure House Creek, which feeds into the Lynnhaven River and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay. Residents will access Indigo Dunes from Shore Drive at Marlin Bay Drive, just west of the Lesner Bridge in the Bayfront area of Virginia Beach.

A team of prominent architects, ecologists and engineers has been assembled to ensure that a delicate balance with nature is maintained — and to create quality residences in what is destined to be a community of distinction. Although earlier zoning of this area permitted more than 1,500 units on the 69-acre site, Indigo Dunes will, when finally built out over an 8-10 year period, host 1,096 homes. Nearly a third of the land will become a 21-acre linear park along the shoreline with trails and overlooks.

Indigo Dunes will boast a variety of living options, from luxury apartments to stylish single-family homes, townhouses and high rise condominium residences, most with water views. Each structure will be styled in classic Virginia coastal architecture. There will be ample parking for residents and guests and spaces within low and mid--rise buildings will be hidden from view, adding to Indigo Dunes unique visual profile.
